Nim Lalvani is the current director of the American Migraine Foundation. She has worked in public health for more than 12 years with a focus in nonprofit and patient advocacy areas. Nim has worked with many organizations with various areas of focus over the years but migraine is personal to her, as she is a hemiplegic migraine warrior herself. Her work in patient advocacy focuses on helping patients find and utilize the right resources and tools when they need them the most.

Kevin Lenaburg has worked in healthcare advocacy for more than 15 years. He is the executive director of the Coalition For Headache And Migraine Patients (CHAMP). Kevin brings his professional expertise, along with his personal experience with being a caregiver for a loved one who suffers from a debilitating headache disease, to bring support to patients who suffer from various headache conditions who often feel stigmatized by the healthcare system.
Kevin and his work through CHAMP aim to bring together organizations and leaders in the field to work collectively to help people through their headache and migraine journey. Kevin and CHAMP have pushed for, advocated and celebrated the creation and release of the anti-CGRP class of medications.

Understanding Your Workplace Rights
Stacey Worthy JD
Attorney and Executive Director
Stacey Worthy is a graduate of George Mason School of Law, and she is an expert in workplace law and policy for those with health issues like chronic migraine. Ms. Worthy assists in coalition-building efforts with allied organizations focusing on common goals. She currently serves as counsel to and is a member of the board of directors for Aimed Alliance, a nonprofit that works to protect and enhance the rights of health-care consumers and providers. Ms. Worthy is a published author of scholarly articles, a regular speaker at national conferences and is a partner at the DCBA Law and Policy firm in Washington, D.C., where she specializes in health care law.

Beyond Guilt and Shame: One Woman’s Journey
Jaime Sanders is a patient advocate, blogger, and 40-year-old mom to three wonderful kids. She lives with chronic migraine, fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety. Jaime has a popular blog called “The Migraine Diva,” which is her personal diary, platform for advocacy, and sounding board to readers to learn how chronic pain affects a person and a family. She is a member of the Coalition For Headache and Migraine Patients (CHAMP) and ‘The Headache & Migraine Policy Forum’ striving to advance public policy and practices in order to deliver improved treatments for headache and migraine patients. Jaime is also affiliated with the American Migraine Foundation, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing reliable information about diagnosis, treatment, and advancements in research.
